Musrara, a diverse Jerusalem neighbourhood, was grand in its early years of existence in the late 19^th century, but was abandoned for many years after 1948.  Since 1967 it has benefited from urban renewal and has now been restored to its former glory. Beautiful masonry and grand doorways characterize this beautiful residential area.
