Late one afternoon, on a side alleyway in Jerusalem's Germany Colony neighbourhood, I chanced upon this gate which happened to swing open as I walked by. I wanted to show a partial view of what I glimpsed.  To unify this composition- of a scene within a scene- I used a limited palette of greens and yellows with a touch of cobalt blue and violet to liven it up.
