8 o'clock on a quiet autumn morning. This blue door in Baka caught the sunlight and beckoned me to paint it. I am intrigued by color that bounces off objects in the light and rebounds into deep shadows. While painting these shadowed areas, I seek out the reflected light and charge the deep tones with small doses of intense color.
