Summer in the City, Safed.

Safed's old quarter is often silent and beckoning. The hushed tones give deference to charming alleys and glimpses of Meron and its surrounding hills. The scene painted here is a spot where people often pause to enjoy the mood and view. I was captivated by the shapes of light and shadow streaking across the building, like arrows leading the viewer into the scene.
